YDL-Superior has a learning garden that is used for programming events. Each week, participants get to see the progress of the garden and what vegetables are ready for harvest. The produce from the garden is then used to cook a new recipe. Kids have the opportunity to help with the cooking process and taste test when finished.
On July 27 at 2:30pm, squash will be used to make squash fries. Another event on August 3 will round up the program series. See what’s happening each week on the events calendar!
