LOOK BOTH WAYS TEACHER RESOURCE QUICK LINKS

Look Both Ways is an award-winning collection of 10 short stories about middle schoolers on their way home from school, written by the current Ambassador for Young People’s Literature, Jason Reynolds. Chapters can be read separately, but they occasionally interconnect in unique ways.

To make it easier to use the book with students in virtual classrooms, we are providing links below to content for each chapter.

  • Recorded read alouds your students can watch to hear each story;
  • Discussion guides with questions you can use with students or share directly in your virtual classroom;
  • Web pages with extension activities that include Write. Right. Rite. videos in which Jason Reynolds introduces a writing challenge, and writing prompts by 826michigan, as well as links to other supporting online materials.

Click the button above to visit the Look Both Ways homepage, with chapter-by-chapter links to the extension activities.
