Celine Watkins is a diminutive woman of 68 years who occasionally needs a hit of oxygen; she seems totally non-threatening, yet she is a trained sharpshooter and expert private investigator.  Always on the lookout for a daughter she gave up in her teens, she and her husband side-kick Pete have a 96% find rate helping families locate missing persons.  She takes on a cold case: she is hired to find a famous journalist/photographer who disappeared over 20 years ago. The man's daughter feels that her father must be alive and convinces Celine to help her.  The case takes on international intrigue, putting Celine and Pete's lives at risk, but the intrepid Celine will not be deterred. A parallel plot develops as Celine's son Hank attempts to track down the unknown father of his missing half-sister. A very satisfying read by an established and noteworthy author, Celine is available in print and audiobook.
